Cappon House

The historic Cappon House was the home of Holland’s first mayor and local tannery proprietor, Isaac Cappon. Built in 1874, it is now partially restored to its appearance in 1900. Visitors to the Cappon House step back in time, immersing themselves in the stories of Isaac Cappon and his large family.

Admission to the Cappon House gains access to the Settlers House as well. Both the Cappon House and Settlers House are open seasonally from mid-May-September. During that time, the houses are open Fridays and Saturdays, with guided tours offered every hour. The first tour of the day begins at 11:00 a.m. and the last at 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 per person; Holland Museum members are free.
