Brick Italianate
This is an Italianate style, which was popular from 1840-1880. Italianate style homes are defined by their tall narrow windows with elaborate arch surrounds. In 1910, this house was owned by Henry & Jennie Naberhuis. Henry A. Naberhuis was the City Engineer for the City of Holland. By 1921, the house was likely used as a boarding house, as the directory lists many occupants.
