Victorian Visions: The Cappon House Through the Eyes of Bruce McCombs

On display in the Focus Gallery, Oct, 4–Feb. 10, 2025
Experience the historic Cappon House in a new light

The Holland Museum is proud to present Victorian Visions: The Cappon House Through the Eyes of Bruce McCombs, an exhibition featuring a collection of 14 original watercolor paintings by the renowned local artist Bruce McCombs. These intricate works capture the Italianate Cappon House before its restoration. McCombs’ use of unique angles and photorealistic technique reveals the Cappon House from a macroscopic level, encouraging viewers to look at the iconic home from new perspectives.

In addition to honoring McCombs’ artistic talent, this exhibit celebrates the timeless beauty of the Cappon House’s Italianate architecture. Visit the Museum Focus Gallery to experience these captivating perspectives of an iconic historic home.
