Craftsman
Craftsman are a popular style from 1905 to 1930. Craftsman were inspired by the arts and crafts movement which focused on using natural materials and celebrating the people who created the arts. Craftsman house have an "unfinished" feel with exposed building elements (like brackets) that you don't see on many houses. Underneath the roof above the door you can see exposed rafters. Another common feature that you see on this house and houses from the 20th century are enclosed porches. This home was owned in 1913 by James & Fannie De Pree. He was a Sales Manager of De Pree Chemical.
