About the Presenters
Paul Den Uyl
Paul Den Uyl is a 5th generation Hollander, born and raised. He attended Holland High School, Hope College, and Michigan State University and spent his career at Haworth and Perrigo in R&D, Master Scheduling, and Materials Management. He has been working on a sequel to his book, The Holland Fire Department: The First Fifty Years, 1867-1916.
Bret Groendyke
Bret Groendyke has served in the fire service since September of 2002 and was a firefighter/EMTB with Holland beginning in April 2013. He became the Fire Marshal for the City of Holland in February of 2018 and enjoys serving the community and providing education on all things related to the fire service.
