Tulip Time Flower Show: Windmills & Wooden Shoes

The Holland Garden Club presented its free Standard Flower Show during Tulip Time 2026 at the Holland Armory. The theme, Windmills & Wooden Shoes, was chosen to celebrate Dutch culture brought by the earliest European settlers of our town. The show featured floral designs interpreting this theme in many different categories and botanical creations. The original program also included an amateur photography competition with landscape and micro photos. The horticultural division featured spring-blooming flowers (tulips too!) and branches from shrubs and ornamental trees submitted by local gardeners.

This annual free event was made possible by the Stuart and Barbara Padnos Foundation. The event highlighted the work of Holland Garden Club members and the color of spring.
