Ally Up! Sharing Stories on Being an Effective Ally

The Holland Museum, in partnership with Grounded in Equity, LLC., hosted a panel discussion on being an effective ally. Panelists  discussed what demonstrating effective allyship has meant to them and how they actively inspire others to take on the role of being an ally.

Being an effective ally requires significant self-reflection and a strong sense of self-identity. It doesn’t necessarily mean you (as an ally) fully understand what it feels like to be oppressed but you have made a conscious decision to take on the struggle of someone else as your own. Join us for this important conversation.
