Our Popular Walking Tours are Back!

Join Holland Museum volunteers every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. from June 18 through August 13, 2025 to explore historic Holland. Family-friendly walking tours include:

• Historic Holland Architecture
• 1871 Holland Fire Walk
• Holland's Public Art 

Each tour begins and ends on the steps of the Holland Museum, 31 W. 10th Street. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. If tours are canceled due to inclement weather, participants will be notified via email.  

Member Cost: $5/person
Non-Member Cost: $8/person
Pre-registration is required. Max: 20 participants per tour.

Enjoy a walking tour of Historic Holland’s wide range of distinctive architectural styles. The tour begins and ends on the steps of the Holland Museum. Step back in time and discover the story of the Holland Fire of 1871 on this guided walking tour through historic Downtown Holland. As you explore the charming streets, you’ll learn how the devastating blaze shaped the city’s past and transformed its future. This tour will visit key sites that were impacted by the fire where attendees will hear compelling stories of resilience and rebuilding that followed in its wake. Come experience history where it happened!
