Revival Cape Cod

By the mid-1900s, homes were much smaller and simpler. This house is probably from the 1940-1960s and resembles a cape cod. Cape Cods were a popular style during the colonial era on the east coast. You can spot a Cape Cod by its one story, gable roof, symmetrical design with two dormers on the roof. In the 1947 City Directory John and Anna Arendshorst (of Arendshorst Insurance Agency & Realtor) are listed at this address.
