Look How the Museum Celebrated MLK Day!

The Holland Museum celebrated Dr. King’s legacy by offering free admission all day and provided opportunities for families to learn how they can help change the world, help celebrate diversity, and respect the differences between all of us.

The museum offered numerous family friendly activities including a scavenger hunt in the gallery to learn about the civil rights movement, hands on learning about inventors with diverse backgrounds in the Museum’s Spark!Lab Smithsonian exhibit, painting stones of hope, a recitation of the celebrated civil rights leader’s “I Have a Dream” speech, films about MLK, and much more!
