The Pantry

This pantry contained the tools and some of the foodstuffs used in the ongoing work of the kitchen. The cabinet on the left and the rolling two compartment flour bin on the right were taken from the original kitchen. Staining on these two pieces provides the basic colors for the grain painting of the wainscot on the walls in the kitchen area.

Most of the items on the shelves and floor of the pantry are Cappon artifacts and date to the turn of the last century.
